Brothel raided in Pellawatte

Five women, including the manager of a brothel which had been operating in the guise of a massage parlour in Pellawatte on the Pannipitiya Road, were arrested by the Thalangama Police last evening.

Police said the women, aged between 26 and 38, were from Digana, Kuruwita, Karandeniya, Piliyandala and Kadawatte while the manager aged 25 was from Diyabeduma.

The suspects would be produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate today, Police said.
