Beruwala tense after UPFA-UNP clash

A tense situation is reported from Deenagoda in Beruwala during a clash between the supporters of UPFA and UNP this afternoon, police said.

They said that Special Task Force personnel were deployed in the area to east the tense situation on the instruction of the Election Commissioner. Security has been tightened in the area.
