Australia were 157-5 at tea on day one of the first test as Sri Lanka dominated most parts of the game on a spinning track. Electing to bat first, Australia reached 76 for 2 at lunch, but lost 3 wickets for 81 runs in post tea session. Usman Khawaja was the last man to be dismissed -- after which tea was called -- for a nervy 34, bowled by Chanaka Welegedara. Welegedara and Suranga Lakmal have accounted for a wicket each thus far.
