Army deployed to protect CEB staff

The Army has been deployed for the security of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) employees who reported for work today despite threats, the CEB said.

It also said that over 50 percent of the CEB staff had reported for work today and the CEB engineers were working around the clock.

It also requested the employees who received threats to report the matter to the Army on the special hotline 0113075792.
