The final report of the All Party Representative Committee (APRC) formed to formulate a solution to the ethnic issue is with President Mahinda Rajapaksa but is yet to be released to the public, the UNP and SLMC said today.

Addressing a media briefing in Colombo a short while ago UNP member R. Yogarajan said that it has been more than 14 months since the final report was handed over to the President by APRC chairman Tissa Vitarana.

However despite the end of the war the President is yet to release the report to the public, Yogarajan said.  Meanwhile the UNP and SLMC released part of the report to the media today. The report is to be tabled in Parliament tomorrow. (Daily Mirror online)
