Appeal Court bans illegal animal slaughter

The Appeal Court today issued an order banning illegal animal slaughter that violates Sri Lanka’s laws and regulations.

The order was given when the Appeal Court took up for hearing several petitions filed on animal sacrifice at the Munnewaram Kovil. (SSS)
