Aluvihare, Lakshman lead in Matale

Wasantha Aluwihare has topped the UNP list in Matale with 75,926 preferential votes while Ranjith Aluwihare and R. Kaviratne made it to the first and the second places of the list respectively with 74,785 and 41,766 preferential votes.

Lakshman Wasantha Perera topped the UPFA list with 79,309 preferential votes while Janaka Bandara Tennakoon came in the second place with 61,920 preferential votes.
