A Colombo court today remanded six Air Force officers, who were arrested on charges of unlawful assembly and for allegedly assaulting and obstructing a police officer from carrying out his duties at the Galle Face road block last Friday.
The six Air Force officers in civies who were produced before Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne are alleged to have damaged a police check point.
The Magistrate also ordered that the suspects be produced at an identification parade on Friday on which date the next magisterial inquiry would be held.
