A 20-year-old rider of a motorcycle had been remanded over a fatal accident in which a seven-year-old girl and one-year-old girl were killed at Egodauyana on the Panadura-Moratuwa Road.
The rider of the motorcycle was remanded until December 18 after being produced in the Moratuwa Magistrate’s Court.
Police said the rider was earlier arrested by the Panadura Police over reckless driving and had been imposed a fine of Rs. 15,000 by the Panaduwa Magistrate.
