The Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) on Political Victimization has informed the Court of Appeal today that it will not summon JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake and former CID director Shani Abeysekara until the Court of Appeal case comes to a conclusion.
The PCoI undertaking will be effective until Court of Appeal makes an appropriate order regarding the two writ petitions filed by Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Shani Abeysekara.
The Commission further gave an undertaking not to summon Senior State Counsel Janaka Bandara as well.
