Addressing the Nation, President Gotabaya Rajapaksa said he would not hesitate to take any pertinent action according to his conscience in the endeavor to bring prosperity to the country.
“I am not of such a calibre to run away in fear of problems and hurdles. I am determined to do what I am entitled to do.
“People have given the mandate to make this country prosperous and they have kept their trust on me. Therefore, I want to fulfil my pledge before the people,” he stressed.
He also said he didn’t want to satisfy anybody based on intentions to obtain votes. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
