The Police Department has decided to withdraw Women Police Constables (WPCs) from displaying sign boards middle of the roads to educate drivers about the Bus Lane Law.
Western Province Senior DIG Deshabandu Tennakoon has directed the Director of Traffic not to deploy WPCs to display sign boards.
