Woman’s body recovered in Diyawanna Oya

The body of a woman, age approximately 50 years, has been recovered from Diyawanna Oya this morning.

Police said the Welikada Police have commenced investigations regarding it.

An incident of this nature was reported on February 18, last year, as well from Diyawanna Oya where a body of a 45 to 50-year-old woman was found. (Darshana Sanjeewa)
