The water supply in several areas in Colombo has been interrupted due to a leak in a pipeline which carries water from Ambatale water plant, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board.
Accordingly, the water supply had been interrupted in Colombo 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9,10, 11, 12 and 13.
The Water Board said there would be a low pressure water supply in Colombo 4 and 14 as well.
They said the water supply would be restored by 10 p.m today.
