USA, Japan and Bangladesh envoys meet President

The heads of diplomatic missions of three countries - the United States, Japan and Bangladesh- called on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today.

U.S. Ambassador Aliana Teplitz, along with Deputy Chief of Mission Martin Kelly and Political Officer Anthony Renzulli met with the President and exchanged views.

Besides, Japanese ambassador Sugiyama Akira visited the President along with the embassy officials – Toshihiro Kitamura and Takeshi Ozaki.

Meanwhile, Bangladeshi High Commissioner Riaz Hamidullah who called on the President conveyed greetings from his Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and President Abdul Hamid. He extended an invitation to President Rajapaksa to visit Bangladesh on a convenient date.
