Two persons have been killed and another hospitalised when two gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire at Moratumulla on the Piliyandala- Moratumulla Road this morning, Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekera said.
He said a bus owner and his son’s friend were among the deceased and bus owner’s son was injured in the shooting, carried out using a shotgun at around 10.30 this morning near their house.
He said the shooting took place due to personal dispute and one of the shooters had been identified.
The Moratumulla Police are investigating. No one had been arrested yet.(Darshana Sanjeewa)
