Two doctors and a nurse working in the Pediatric Unit of the Colombo South Teaching Hospital have been contracted with Covid-19.
Earlier, a child and a mother who was receiving treatment at the ward were tested positive for the virus.
The doctors and the nurse were found positive for the virus following the PCR tests conducted on them while undergoing self-quarantine.
The contacts of the doctors and the nurse have been informed to self-quarantine.
