Tourism vehicles registered with Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) have been declared as an essential service to ensure transport for all tourists, Tourism Minister Harin Fernando said.
In a twitter post he requested to contact the tourist emergency hotline 1912 or 0112 437759 for assistance.
The government yesterday announced that fuel will only be supplied to essential services, such as the health sector, transportation of food and agricultural sector and hospitals.
