The total Covid-19 cases reported so far in Sri Lanka today surpassed 18,000 mark with 241 more individuals testing positive for the virus.
A total of 398 Covid-19 cases were reported today.
Army Commander Shavendra Silva said all the patients detected today had been identified as contacts of the previous clusters.
The toll of Covid-19 cases in the Minuwangoda-Peliyagoda cluster surged to 14,568.
Accordingly, the total cases reported so far in Sri Lanka stand at 18,075 while there are still 5,799 patients under medical care.
Meanwhile, the total recoveries in the country stand at 12,210. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
