Three more Covid-19 deaths were reported today taking the toll of Covid-19 deaths to 69.
According to the Government Information Department, two males aged 70, 48 and a female aged 74 are among the victims.
The details of today’s victims are as follows,
01. A 70-year-old male from Kandana was reported dead at his residence. The cause of death was ruled as complications of diabetes due to Covid-19 infection.
02. A 74-year-old female, a resident of Colombo 12 succumbed to the virus while receiving treatment at the Homagama Base Hospital. The cause of death was identified as exacerbation of High Blood Pressure and Diabetes due to Covid-19 infection.
03. A 48-year-old male from Colombo 13 passed away at his residence. The cause of death was identified as complications associated with diabetes due to Covid-19 infection. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
