Three individuals including a 6-year-old child had died after a roofing sheet gave way while they were flying kites on top of the roof of a three-story house in Makuluwa in Galle this evening.
The deceased are a 46-year-old owner of the house, his 6-year-old child and a 44-year-old neighbour.
The three had fallen on the ground from the roof of the third floor after the asbestos roofing sheet broke.
They were pronounced dead on admission to the Hospital.(D.G. Sugathapala)
