Tense in Kalladi; Police use tear gas to disperse protesters

The police used tear gas to disperse a group of protestors, who were protesting near the Kalladi Bridge in Batticaloa against the burial of Zion church suicide bomber’s head at the Kalliyankadu Cemetery.
Recently, a court ordered to bury the suicide bomber’s head at the Kalliyankadu cemetery. A large number of area people launched a protest in the evening against the move and the later the protestors started to behave violently. 
Later, the police had to use tear gas to control the situation.
