A team of 21 teledrama artistes who lodged in a hotel in Teldeniya and the staff of the hotel were quarantined in the hotel when a popular teledrama actor among them was tested Covid-19 positive.
Health authorities in the area said the teledrama actor who had arrived in Kandy and lodged in the hotel with other artistes and returned to Colombo on November 21 tested positive for Covid-19.
PHIs said the team of artistes and the hotel staff were quarantined under the supervision of the police pending PCR tests. (J.A.L. Jayasinghe)
