T20 World Cup 2024: Sri Lanka schedule unveiled

Jan. 5 - International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled Sri Lanka’s schedule for the highly anticipated ICC T20 World Cup 2024, which is set to begin on June 1. The T20 tournament will be hosted first time in the United States with the West Indies.

Sri Lanka lies in Group D with South Africa, Bangladesh, the Netherlands, and Nepal. They will play their opening game against South Africa on June 3 in New York.

Twenty teams are competing for the title. The teams will be divided into four groups. The final will be held in Barbados on June 29.

– Sri Lanka vs South Africa, June 3, New York
– Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh, June 7, Dallas.
– Sri Lanka vs Nepal, June 11, Lauderhill.
– Sri Lanka vs Netherlands, June 16, St. Lucia.
The stage is set to witness the opening game between USA vs Canada on June 1. Group stage matches will start from June 1 to June 17. While Super 8 stage will be played between June 19 to June 24. Semi-final will be played on June 26 and June 27.
