A suicide kit was recovered from a house in Kattankudy belonging to the brother of National Thawheed Jamaat (NTJ) leader Zahran Hashim, Rilwan, following a joint search operation carried out by the STF and police today.
Police said Rilwan's father-in-law, S.H Nazzar and mother-in-law A.L.S. Pajiriya, were arrested following the raid.
During the search, police also recovered two mobile phones, several ATM cards, passbooks, several pictures of Rilwan’s children and identity cards.
Rilwan and his wife were killed following the explosion that took place in a house in Kalmunai during a gun battle last Friday. (T.L. Jawfer Khan)
