Students affected by floods can wear casual clothes

Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said today that students who had been affected by the floods would be allowed to wear casual dresses when attending school.

Meanwhile Western Province Education Minister Ranjith Somawansa said students who had lost their uniforms, could wear whatever clothes they had to school. “Many of them have exams too, therefore it’s essential that they attend school,” he said.
