Sri Lal Abeykoon no more

Popular actor Sri Lal Abeykoon also know as ' Appuwa' in his role in the famous ‘Kopi Kade’ teledrama, has passed away at the age of 66 yesterday.

Sri Lal Abeykoon had been ill for nearly five years had been receiving treatment at Mirigama and Ragama hospitals.

He was admitted to the Meerigama Hospital yesterday due to illness and died while undergoing treatment.

The funeral will be held on Saturday at the Malwatta cemetery in Nittambuwa. (Pushpakumara Mallawaarachchi)
