The Godagama-Barawakumbuka segment of the Southern Expressway (E01) will be opened for public today by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Meanwhile, the bus fares for the expressway bus service between Hambantota and Colombo Fort has also been announced.
Accordingly, the ticket from Hambantota to Colombo Fort would be Rs 880, Tangalle to Colombo Fort Rs 680, Hambantota to Makumbura Rs 810, and Tangalle to Makumbura Rs 610.
Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) announced that it had added 10 more luxury buses from Matara to Hambantota on the Southern Expressway.
