Social media activist Bruno Divakara arrested for allegedly aiding and abetting in publishing the controversial remarks made by Nathasha Edirisooriya was remanded till 07 June after being produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court.
The CID alleged that suspect Bruno Divakara had published the offensive remarks made by stand-up comedian Nathasha Edirisooriya on his ‘SL Vlog’ Youtube channel, thus paving the way for inciting religious disharmony among various communities.
Comedian Nathasha Edirisooriya is also currently under remand custody for allegedly making comments on Buddhism, detrimental to the country's religious harmony. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)
