The Meteorology Department today advised single-day and smaller fishing (Dingy) boat owners not to venture into sea areas until noon on Monday because of the increase of wind speeds.
“The wind speeds can increase up to 70 km/h, in the deep and shallow sea areas, around the island, from 9 a.m today until 9 a.m tomorrow.
“The sea areas around the island can be very rough in this period,” the Met. Department said.
