A 26-year old had been killed when his firearm accidentally discharged at the Wasgamuwa National Park last night, the Police said.
They said the incident was reported when the victim and two other relatives of his had gone hunting at the Wasgamuwa National Park.
The deceased was identified as resident of Kalahagala, Polonnaruwa.
The Magistrate’s inquiry into the death was conducted at the scene.
