Several Roads in Colombo will be closed in view of the cultural show at Independence Square from 3 pm this afternoon until the show is concluded, Police said.
Accordingly, entrance towards Independence Square from Independence Avenue and Independence Roundabout, entrance to Independence Square from Foundation Road and from Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha and entrance towards Independence Square from Premakeerthi de Alwis Mawatha and Rupavahini Corporation will be closed.
Police said residents of the areas where the Roads are closed and those who are traveling to officers will be allowed to travel without any disturbance and roads will be opened soon after the show.
