A 39-year-old school security guard who was arrested over sexually abusing three grade-5 students by the Special Police Investigation Unit of the National Child Protection Authority (NPCA) has been remanded after being produced in the Nikaweratiya Magistrate Court, the NCPA said.
In a statement, they said the arrest had been made according to the information received by the NCPA from a Zonal Education Director.
Statements of the three girls regarding the incident have been recorded by the NCPA.
