The first Sri Lankan Ambassador to Poland and former Parliament Member for the Gampaha District Tudor Gunasekera has passed away due to COVID-19 infection.
He died yesterday while receiving treatment for COVID infection. His last rites were performed on the same day as per COVID guidelines.
He was 86 years old at the time of his demise.
