Whilst expressing that the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) will not allow the incumbent President Ranil Wickremesinghe to remain in power till 2024, parliamentarian S. M. Marikkar today said President Wickremesinghe will be surrounded from all corners wherever he resides, if he fails to resolve the starvation and other issues.
"We will only wait for a few more days and will surround the area where he lives and will confine him to one location without allowing him to move," Marikkar told a press conference.
"We have given the President ample time to resolve the issues faced by the citizens and our patience is running out," he added.
"We did come to Colombo in large numbers and launched the Aragalaya initially before others took it over," he recalled.(Yohan Perera)
