The Supreme Court today extended the stay order on the implementation of the death sentence till December 10.
The Bench comprising Justices Buwaneka Aluvihare, S.Thurairaja and Gamini Amarasekera referred the matter to the Chief Justice to consider nominating a fuller Bench for hearing and fixed the petitions to be taken up on December 9. (S.S.Selvanayagam)
