An extraordinary gazette has been issued by the Secretary to the President Gamini Senerath indicating the resignation of 26 cabinet ministers.
Meanwhile, another gazette notification has also been issued notifying the appointment of four ministers to the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Education, Highways and Finance.
However, another fresh gazette notification has to be made as Ali Sabri who was appointed Finance Minister, has resigned from the post, barely a day after the appointment.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
