Tony Hawke, the brother of former Miss Sri Lanka -1962 Jennifer Ingleton seek public assistance over the suspicious death of Miss Jennifer Ingelton.
Jennifer, 78-year-old widow, without any children and without any relations living in Sri Lanka had died under suspicious circumstances according to her brother who is presently living in England.
According to him, she could have been saved if proper attention and treatment was given. He said the man supposed to be looking after her had not sought medical assistance deliberately in order to get hold of her assets in Sri Lanka.
Miss Jennifer’s brother says the man had befriended Jennifer through his dancing classes to which Jennifer had gone for dancing practices.
After Jennifer being discharged from hospital last year the caretaker had alienated Jennifer from visiting her family in Australia and her friends.
Mr. Hawke suspects that the man had not even allowed her doctor to check Jennifer.
According to her relations after a couple of visits to them, Jennifer has not been allowed to use her mobile phone or to make phone calls or to receive phone calls since she became ill.
The relations state that the man now claims that he owns Jennifer’s properties by a questionable last will.
Attorneys –at- laws Ian Fernando says that five persons had placed their signature for the questionable last will of Jennifer without including their addresses to it, which is suspicious and questionable.
Mr. Fernando said when inquiries made from the Land Registry over the immovable properties of Jennifer it is found that the records pertaining to Jennifer's property has disappeared.
