Former prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today rejected allegations of being involved in any plot to kill State Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage.

Mr. Wickremesinghe requested Speaker Karu Jayasuriya to obtain the CDs found at MP Ranjan Ramanayake's, examine them and inform the House whether there had been any such plot.

“I request the Speaker to obtain the CDs from the police, have them examined and inform the House whether any MP had done anything wrong," Mr. Wickremesinghe said responding to the allegations made by Mr. Aluthgamage.

“I am not a conspirator," he said adding that it was questionable as to how the CDs got into the hands of several MPs and the media. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)
