Colombo High Court Judge Manjula Tilakaratne today released former civil aviation minister Priyankara Jayaratne from two cases filed on bribery charges.
He was released after considering the request made by the Bribery Commission to allow the case to be withdrawn as it had been filed without the consent of the three bribery commissioners. (Nimanthi Ranasinghe)
