Four brigadiers have been promoted to the rank of major generals, 25 colonels to the rank of brigadiers and 34 majors to the rank of lieutenant colonels by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on the commendation of Sri Lanka Army Commander, Shavendra Silva.
