A 25-year old girl, an aspirant to become a nun at a convent in Galle was found hanging from an upstair window inside the convent last night, the Police said.
Investigations revealed that the girl joined the nunnery this year and was a postulant by the time of death.
The postmortem examination of the girl is to be held at the Karapitiya Hospital today and the Galle Police is conducting further investigations. (D.G. Sugathapala)
