A petition was filed by the Sathya Gaveshakayo Organisation (Truth Seekers) in the Supreme Court today requesting an order directing the Election Commission to hold the election for Provincial Councils (PC) immediately.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, convener of the organization, Attorney-at-Law Premnath Dolawatte said that they hope an order would be given by the Supreme Court within two months. (Lahiru Pothmulla)
