More than 11,000 people have been arrested for violation of police curfew as of this afternoon since March 20, police said.
They said a total of 11,019 people were arrested and 2,727 vehicles had also been taken into police custody during this period.
According to the police, 289 people and 70 vehicles were taken into police custody within a 6-hour period which ended 12 noon today.
