One killed in train-tipper collision

One person was killed and another four were injured when a tipper truck collided with a train travelling from Rambukkana to Colombo at a Railway crossing in Vanawasala, Kelaniya this morning.

Police said the truck driver and four train passengers were admitted to the National hospital and one of them had succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
