No Black Sunday if MR administration remained: Dilum

If there be an administration led by Mahinda Rajapaksa, there would be no appearance of a Black Sunday to celebrate today, Transport State Minister Dilum Amunugama said.

While holding a meeting in Kandy he said that most of them thinking that Black Sunday was created by this Government.

After the Sri Lankan civil war in 2009, there was not even a single firecracker was lit until the easter attack in 2019.

State Minister added that those in the opposition appointed a new President and a new government in 2015 by pointing out baseless allegations at the previous administration led by Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Similar accusations are being pointed out at the present administration while it is in the process of ensuring stability.

Therefore, the public should not be deceived by malicious statements, the state Minister added. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
