Over 32kg of Kerala cannabis were seized by the Navy during a special search conducted at the Paramunai Island close to Baththalangunduwa, Kalpitiya yesterday.
Accordingly, the stock of Kerala cannabis were hidden at an unoccupied fishing hut by racketeers.
Meanwhile, the stock of cannabis was handed over to the Kalpitiya Police for further investigation.
