Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Sri Lanka a short while ago to make a brief stopover on his way back to India from the Maldives.
Premier Modi was received by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at the BIA.
He is expected to hold talks with President Maithripala Sirisena and will also meet Leader of Opposition and former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and members of the Tamil National Alliance.
