The Minuwangoda Police Station has been temporarily closed for disinfection process after all of its officers were sent for quarantine.
Police said at least 85 police officers including the OIC of the Minuwangoda Police quarantined after the owner of the canteen of the Police Station has tested positive for COVID-19.
The police officers were placed under quarantine after being subjected to PCR tests. They said an additional police team would take over the duties at the Police Station.
