The new ministry secretaries are reported to be appointed today by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa after the swearing-in of the state ministers.
Fifteen Cabinet ministers were appointed last week and the state ministers are expected to take oaths before the President today at 9.00 a.m. at the Presidential Secretariat.
The gazette notice assigning the subjects of the ministers and the institutions coming under their purview may be issued today or tomorrow. (Kelum Bandara)
